Pond Shop: For many years the shop was operated by Johnny Di Ciacca, his children would staff the shop that sold a selection of sweets, crisps, Juice and hot pies.
Cubicles: These were pool side and could be hired for an extra charge
Changing Rooms: These operated a basket style storage system manned by a cubicle assistant. Bathers would exchange there swimming ticket for a numbered wire basket. Bathers would then use the changing cubicles and return the basket to the cubicle attendant (nothing was given to the bather, so they had to remember their basket number).

Unusual Cleaning equipment: The Worlds First Pooper Scooper? Unfortunately people often relieved themselves in the pool, not just urinating, maybe this was the first "Pooper Scooper": a frying pan was attached to a pole and the staff would remove the offending item with it.
Time Up Bathers: the pondmaster or lifeguard would blow their whistle and shout "time up bathers"
Last day traditions: On the last day the pond of the season, it was traditional for people to get thrown in with their clothes. The pondmaster was often the main target. Sometimes visitors would get caught out with this tradition.
Water circulation: Water was pumped into the pond via a Fountain at the shallow end. It was taken from the pond at the deep end. The water then went by pipe to the boiler house were it was filtered before returning via the fountain to the pool
Paddling Pool: Originally this was filled via a pipe system from the pond, was was laterally filled via a fire hose
Pond Filling : The pond was filled with sea water. A pipe ran from the boiler room northwards into the sea, it was extended at one point to reduce the fill time.
